The Q&A Archives: Hydrangia Question

Question: My 3yr old Hydrangia bloomed this yr but only the last 5ft of the vine. How can I get the whole vine to bloom?

Answer: As you've discovered, hydrangea blooms on new growth. To have it bloom more you'll need to prune it down in the late winter or early spring to encourage lots of new growth and lots of flowers. Enjoy!
