Do chipmonks eat cannas? I have a lot of plants and don't know if I should put some netting around them or not. How do I keep them out of my tomatoes?/netting?/

Bird netting might work but I've had rabbits and squirrels gnaw right through it. Instead, try making cylinders out of chicken wire or hardware cloth to put over your prized plants. Bury the bottom 6" into the soil and make sure the top is at least 24" above the soil line. You may need to set a top on each cylinder, too. Good luck with your plants!
