How often should I water my tomato plants? I developed a schedule of every 2 weeks for feeding them with Miracle Gro for tomatoes but I am afraid of overwatering and causing problems.

Tomato plants do best with a steady level of soil moisture so the frequency you need to water will depend on both your soil and how often it rains. Generally the rule of thumb is to supplement the natural rainfall as needed to keep the soil moist but not soggy. If the soil is already completely saturated or it is raining when you are scheduled to fertilize, you might wait a day and give it a chance to dry a bit before you water your plants to apply the MiracleGro. The best way to check soil moisture is to simply stick your finger in the soil! ...or dig up a trowelful in the path and see if it's moist. You might also want to mulch the soil around your tomatoes with a 2-3" layer of straw, to help keep soil moisture even.
