Our poppies have lost their flowers. Are there any seeds left on the plant that we may plant later?

The flowers will lose their petals but the center should develop a seed pod filled with seeds. When the seed pod turns a tannish brown, the seeds are ripe and you can cut the seed pods off the stems and save them for planting next year or you can just allow the seeds to spill on the ground and they will sprout next spring. Good luck with your poppies!
