We would like to plant blue rug junipers on our front lawn. It is very steep to try and mow and we live way on top of a hill. Do blue spruce junipers need some kind of chemical on them that keeps them blue? Your input on this would be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,
Cindy Smith

Blue rug junipers have a natural blue cast to the foliage. There's nothing you need to do to help them keep their natural blue color. Hope this answers your question!
