What do you use to kill a weed growing in established euonymus. - Knowledgebase Question

A very delicate weed is taking over my euonymus ground cover. What can I put on it to kill the weed w/o killing the euonymus.

There's really nothing to suggest unless you can identify the weed. Grassy weed killers should not harm your euonymus but a broadleaf weed killer will so you need to be careful with what you apply. Maybe the best approach is to hand pull the weeds until you can have them identified. This way you'll get rid of the weeds and still maintain your healthy euonymus. Place a couple of the weeds in a plastic baggie and take them to your cooperative extension office or well staffed nursery for help with identification. Best wishes with your landscape.
