| You didn't identify the trees so I don't know what kinds of cultural requirements they may have. The ants shouldn't be the cause of the problem. If they are hanging around they may be feeding on honeydew excreted by insects in the trees, but without leaves to feed on, those insects are probably gone. I can only suggest you water deeply once or twice each week to encourage new growth in your trees. Hope this helps. |
