I wish there were an easy answer, but your red apple is a broadleaf succulent and there are no herbicides that will target only the morning glory and bermuda and leave the red apple alone. You'll need to pull the weeds and then use a pre emergent herbicide to prevent weed seeds from sprouting. Sometimes its just easier to dig out the ground cover first and then kill the weeds with a vegetation killer, wait the prescribed number of days (as listed on the label) and replant the ground cover. Once you've started with a clean slate you can apply a pre emergent herbicide every spring to keep the area weed free. Best wishes with your project!
