| As you've discovered, the new growth is the prime place for new flowers. To encourage flowering throughout, you need to prune your plant back. All through the summer, prune out the tips of all new shoots when they reach 12" long. In the winter, shorten the shoots again so that about 6 buds remain on each shoot. These buds are where new flowering growth will appear next spring. Best wishes with youe wisteria. |
