Curling leaves on tomato plants is usually due to an enviromental stress (most often heat) and it won't harm your plant. The growing conditions between your garden and the containerized tomato must be slightly different or you wouldn't see curling leaves on one but not the other. Don't worry about the curling leaves. Your plant will still grow and produce fruit. Hope you have a great harvest.
