I'm looking for native plant recommendations for attracting hummingbirds to my garden, can you advise? Thank you!

The beauty of native plants is that they are virtually carefree because they are so adapted to the area. Salvia leucantha, Mexican Bush Sage, is native to Florida and commonly used in butterfly and hummingbird gardens. But there are dozens more. Pentas lanceolata has bright red flowers, Stachytarpheta mutabilis (red porter weed), Hamelia patens (fire bush), and Salvia coccinea (tropical sage) are all Florida natives. Enjoy your new garden!
