I have knockout roses planted under a large approx. 15 ft.tall crepe myrtle. because the roott are so shallow the roses are not doing well and need to be moved. (this is my 4th summer and i have tried everything.)is there something else i can plant? it is a large area. i originally had 5 rose bushes planted. |
You can plant perennials such as salvias, dahlias, columbine, daylilies, mums, lantana, Nepeta Walkers Low and Amsonia Blue Star. These are all good choices for beneath your crape myrtles. |
