I have a patio with some narrow cracks (enough for a seed to drop down). I woould like to plant a very short green plant (1/2 to no more than 1 inch high) in the cracks which would last year round in Houston Texas. What would you suggest?

I'm not aware of any plant that will grow only one inch high in a tiny, narrow space between cracks in a patio. Moss might grow if the site is shady. Otherwise, the concrete will get too hot and bake the roots of anything you plant there. Wish I could offer more assistance!
