Answer: Hybrid roses are grafted onto vigorous root stock. The coral colored flowers are from the grafted rose; the red roses are from stems growing from the rootstock. If you trace the stems down you'll see they are coming from below the bud union, which is a swelling on the main stem. I'd prune off any stems coming from the rootstock.
