The Q&A Archives: Perennials

Question: I am looking for a perennials, about 6-8 inches tall, preferrably white, pink, blue or purple that will grow on the North side of my house.

Answer: Sounds like a shady area. Hosta, ajuga (carpet bugle), tiarella, and viola are all low growing perennials that might work in your garden. Impatiens and lobelia are annuals but thrive in the shade. Enjoy your garden!
