I have planted a couple rose buses recently and they appear to be under attack from insects (leaf bites). I have been using the Bayer (Rose food and insect prevener) but this does not appear to be working. Is there a better product or another approach to prevent these insect attacks?
Thanks

Without know what the insects are, it's difficult to make a recommendation for control. You might try Ortho's Rose Defense. It has a neem oil base which has some residual effect. Be sure to apply according to label directions.
