I have verbena plants flowers have bloomed & are dying off. What can I do to get more blooms? |
Verbena looks best if you pinch back young plants and deadhead regularly during the season. At this point you can just cut the plants back by about half to encourage healthy new flowering growth. Most verbena are perennial plants and the annual kinds will self-sow if you stop deadheading towards the end of the summer to allow seedheads to form. |
