Hi, Could you please tell me, am I so post to cut down the hydranga ever fall, I live in michigan and was just wondering if I am sopost to cut the plaint down every fall, or dose it just re-grows again ever spring. Thank You |
Forever & Ever Hydrangeas produce their flower buds on the new growth of spring, ensuring blooms every year. You do not need to prune your hydrangea down in the fall. Wait until early spring to prune it back. Pruning encourages lots of new growth and each of those new stems will produce a flower for you. Best wishes with your hydrangea. |
