My 2+ acre yard has developed a problem with salt cedar. I have pulled it out, dug it out and tried Round-Up. Yet, it keeps coming back. How do I get rid of it once and for all? Thanks in advance for your help.

Salt cedar is extremely difficult to control because of its extensive root system. Recommendations by the Noxious Weed control board suggest pulling it out, cutting it down and digging out the roots, and using a vegetation killer such as Brush B Gon or Round Up to control the pesky weeds. If you keep the plants chopped or cut down as soon as they emerge, the root system will eventually starve itself out and the weedy shrubs will be gone. Wish I had more solutions for you!
