The Q&A Archives: Tomatoes attacked

Question: Something is eating my tomatoes during the night in my garden. What can I do to prevent this...I sprayed for bugs but it is not a bug

Answer: Snails feed at night, as do a number of rodents and other critters. You can use a slug bait such as Sluggo to control slugs, and set mouse traps to catch mice. Aside from creating physical barriers such as cages around your plants, I don't know what else to suggest. Hope you figure out what's eating your tomatoes!
