My Turk's cap has been planted about 18 months. It bloomed beautifully last year & grows fast. This year it grew so tall it was hiding my plants behind it, so I cut it back - this was before it bloomed and now is NOT blooming. Did I damage it by cutting it back and therefore it is not blooming? Thanks |
Turk's Cap can grow to four or five feet so it does need lots of room. I don't think you damaged the plant by cutting it back but you did retard the flowering. Just give it a few more weeks to recover and I'm sure it will flower for you. |
