I live in SoCal. Planted said tree in April, it flowered, now I have 10 1 |
It can take an orange seven to ten months to mature and most are ready to harvest in December in your gardening region. Ripe oranges can remain on the tree for several months so there's no real hurry. But, oranges that fall off the tree are overripe so test pick one in mid-December to see how sweet it is. The oranges will turn orange before they are fully ripe and remain orange unless the weather gets really cold. If so, the skins can start to green up again. Hope this answers all your questions. |
