I have green Ivy with tiny blue flowers growing in a sunny area of my lawn. How do I get rid of them? Thanks,Tim |
Ground ivy or creeping charlie is difficult to control. Hand digging is the best first step but many gardeners have had success using a borax solution. Dissolve 10 oz. Twenty Mule Team Borax in 4 oz. (? cup) warm water. Dilute in 2.5 gallons of water. This will cover 1,000 square feet. If you have a smaller area to treat, cut the "recipe" accordingly. The borax won't harm your turf but will overwhelm the roots of creeping charlie. Hope it works for you! |
