Spring and fall are the best times to transplant landscape trees and shrubs. This is when the air temperatures are cool and rainfall abundant and plants are not stressed quite as much with active growth. So, wait until this fall to move your azalea.

Rhodies and lilacs spend the summer months developing flower buds for the following spring's floral display. For best flowering next spring, prune them in early summer (now) as soon as they have finished flowering.

Best wishes with your landscape.
