I have two dogwood trees that the leaves on the tips of the branches (the new growth) are dying. They are rolling up and looking wilted, then dying and dropping. One of the dogwoods is a wild dogwood that planted itself and is about 5 or 6 years old. The other is a pink dogwood that I planted about 5 years ago. Also in the same area is a 20 year old dogwood that is doing fine. Any suggestions |
Water stress can cause the symptoms you describe, as can fungal diseases and aphid attacks. Inspect the curling leaves for pests, or a white fungal coating. If you find neither, water stress is probably the cause. Wish I had more suggestions to offer! |
