The answer really depends upon the pest in question. For instance, Bt (bacillus thuringensis) is a bacterium that acts as a stomach poison against caterpillars. It is sold as Dipel and Thuricide. There are similar products for other types of pests. Find something with a neem oil base. Neem oil comes from the roots of neem trees and can control certain beetles. Just collect a few of the pests in question and have them identified. Then you can choose the least toxic, most effective approach to treating your fruit tree. Good luck with your trees.
