| I have been trying to locate the tree Magnolia 'Elizabeth' - which produces yellow flowers and has a medium height, as regards Magnolia trees. Unfortunately, in my town, I am only able to find Magnolia grandiflora - the typical white flowering magnolia grown all over the south. Do you know of a nursery that produces and sells such a tree? |
| I believe I've found the magnolia you're looking for! National Gardening Magazine featured an article on these beautiful trees in the March/April 1998 issue. Among the recommended selections is M. acuminata x M. denudata 'Elizabeth', which can reach a height of 20' and has yellow flowers up to 8" across.
