I have several bulb plants like lilies, , cannons, gladoila's and iris...they have over grown. So I'm thinking that I need to dig some up are replant them. Is that so? Also, when do I do this? Thanks

It's true - plants should be dug and divided periodically. If allowed to become overcrowded they will stop flowering because they need to compete for sunlight, moisture and nutrients. Wait until this fall, when flowering is over, to dig and divide your bulbs. They will have all winter to settle in and will begin growing and flowering right on schedule next spring and summer. Best wishes with your garden!
