I have a bougainvillea vine growing along a section of lattice that bloomed all summer long last year.
This year it hasn't even flowered at all yet. What could be causing this?

Sometimes bougainvillea need to be pinched or pruned back to encourage bloom. If you didn't prune early this spring, pinch back some of the growing tips now to produce new flowering wood. Go easy on the nitrogen fertilizer or you'll end up with lots of foliage and little bloom. Keep the plant well watered and you should see some bloom later this season.
