I plantrd mums last year but I do'nt see any sign.of them returning this. What shuld I do?

It is really late in the season so if your mums didn't sprout yet you might want to dig the plant out and inspect the root system. Sometimes they die over the winter, but mostly the roots send out new shoots in the spring. So, dig a plant or two up and see if the roots are still alive. Look for creamy white roots. If the roots are black, brown, rust colored or mushy, the plants did not survive the winter. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
