night blooming jasmine - Knowledgebase Question

hi, i bought night blooming jasmine couple of months back. lately i noticed white tiny bugs sticking to back of leaves and on stem..kind of powdery looking. what should i do? also it has still not bloomed much.thank you.

I don't know if the insect pests are cottony scale or mealybugs but either can damage your plant with their feeding. I'd snip off an infested leaf or two, stick it in a plastic baggie, and take it to a well staffed nursery or your local cooperative extension office for identification. Helpful folks there can suggest control remedies, based on their findings. Best wishes with your jasmine!
