How long it takes to get peppers depends upon the type of pepper you are growing. It takes approximately 50-55 days after flowering for fruits to fully ripen, depending on temperature, soil fertility, and variety. Warmer temperatures will hasten ripening, and cooler temperatures will delay it. If conditions are favorable, pepper production can continue for several months. Give your plants at least 4 hours of morning sun but provide shade from hot afternoon sunshine. Water throughly but then allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering deeply again. Just poke your finger down into the soil a few days after watering to check the soil moisture before watering again. Enjoy your peppers.
