Hibiscus plants tend to drop their oldest leaves (those on the inner parts of the branches and lower down on the plant), but new leaves are produced within a week or so. If the yellowing is just on the older leaves, it's nothing to worry about. However if the entire plant is showing yellow leaves, it could be a sign of overwatering or a need for iron. I use ironite for my plants and it works well to keep the leaves a deep glossy green. Good luck with your plant!
