Is there a way I can build a box where I can grow some flowers?

You can use plastic timbers, cedar, redwood or concrete blocks to build a raised garden bed. Simply lay the timbers in the desired shape and anchor them into the ground, then place additional timbers on top, nailing or screwing them together so they are stable. A minimum of 18" inches deep is best to give the plants ample space to grow. I suggest you start out small and add to the bed as you see fit after your first garden season. Fill the raised bed with topsoil, amend the soil with organic matter and then plant your favorite vegetables. As you grow in experience with your garden, you can add a second or third raised bed to your garden. Enjoy!
