One of the disadvantages of bahiagrass is its tendency to yellow because of iron deficiency. This problem can be overcome by using a complete fertilizer, which contains iron. Apply in amounts as recommended on the label. You can take sprigs or plugs from healthy areas and plant them in any bare spots. Bahia will green up with adequate water and a little fertilizer. Best wishes with your lawn.
