I want to plant something against the side of my house. It is a very plain high wall but there is a bathroom on the other side of where I want to plant this. Looking for something that stays green, tall( not more than 15') and won't attack my plumbing. Can you suggest something. It is on the west wall.

There are lots of evergreen vines you might consider, but these will need a lattice or some other structure on which to climb. Trees to consider include Bottle brush (Callistemon citrinus), Crape myrtle (Lagerstroemia), Fringe tree (Chionanthus virginicus), Orchid tree (Bauhinia spp.). All these trees remain under 20' which makes them good for small places. Hope one of these appeals to you.
