Pothos would rather cascade down than climb up so you might consider planting it at the top of the wall and letting it hang down rather than at the bottom of the wall and training it to grow up. If that's not an option you will need to provide moss covered stakes or something similar to support it and attach it to the stakes to keep it upright. You can repot your pothos into a one gallon sized container for now and then repot it into larger and larger containers as the root system becomes larger. Use potting soil rather than garden soil and water regularly for best growth. Enjoy your pothos.
