| Torenia, or wishbone flower, is a free flowering plant that is considered self cleaning. You don't need to deadhead the spent flowers but you can pinch them off after they have faded if you don't want the plant to develop seeds. When seeds fall from the plant they can grow into new plants, which might make your garden overgrown. So, pinch the faded flowers off if you want, but you don't have to. |
