The Q&A Archives: fertilizer

Question: It is the end of june and our yard looks bad, lots of brown spots. We did not fertilize this spring, can we fertilize now, it is about 100 degrees and dry. If not when should we apply again.

Answer: June and July are not good months to fertilize your lawn but you can feed in late August or early September. I'm glad you asked - you risk burning your turf if you feed now!
