| Tobacco dust isn't the best product for snail control from an ecological or health safety standpoint. A really good alternative and one that is safe for the environment, pets, wildlife and people is the iron based product called Sluggo. It degrades into simple iron if it is not consumed by snails. Give it a try - I think you will like the results. |
