When the leaves become sunburned and fall from the tree they are usually replaced by the tree once it recovers from the stress. I would continue to water the tree as usual and wait for it to show signs of new growth. I'm sure that the roots are still alive and that the tree will recover if given a chance. Don't give up on it just yet.
