I am new to gardening and am not sure what the difference is between plants that are annuals vs perennials. |
In a nutshell, the differences are: Annuals will grow from seed, bloom, set seed and die all in one season. Perennials will live for three years or more and while they may bloom and set seed each year, they come back from the roots. Biennials grow from seed the first year, winter over, then grow, bloom, set seed and die the second year. Hope this information is helpful. |
