| My personal favorite is Kentucky Bluegrass. The blades are thick, the turf is soft, and it feels very luxurious under bare feet. There are others to choose from, though. The University of California has a publication that extolls the virtues of all the turfgrasses that grow well in your gardening region. It's worth a read! http://anrcatalog.ucdavis.edu/...
