Can you plant yuccaa close to your house? i have heard the can be evasive and damage foundations and or septic systems

Yucca plants can have deep and aggressive root systems so you might want to place a barrier around the root system prior to planting it close to your house. Or, plant it in a large container and sink the container down into the garden bed. This way you can keep the roots under control. Best wishes with your garden!
