I feel as though I'm doing your homework for you. The answer depends upon the chemical in question, but typically hot weather should be avoided because of problems with phytotoxicity; rainy weather can dilute chemicals and dry weather can keep the chemical from freely moving over the plants and into the soil. Hope we get a good grade!
