Watering and mowing regularly and feeding in the spring and the fall will help your lawn grow lush and thick. Deep watering twice a week will have the biggest impact on your lawn. Run the sprinklers for 15 minutes, turn them off for about 20 minutes to allow the water to soak in, and then run them for another 15 minutes. Do this every 3-4 days to encourage deep root growth and your turf should green up within a few weeks. Be sure to mow at least once a week and in late September feed with a winterizer type lawn food. It will take a few weeks, but your turf should begin to green up and grow lush and thick once you begin deep watering and regular mowing. Enjoy your landscape!
