The Q&A Archives: Small Apricots

Question: May apricot trees have very small fruit. What can I do to insure large fruit next year?

Answer: Thinning the fruit will result in fewer, but larger fruits. Remove the extras, leaving about 6 inches between each peach and they are sure to grow larger because they will have less competition for moisture and nutrients.
