Some grape varieties produce small grapes and others grow really large grapes. It all depends on the kind you are growing whether or not you can encourage the vines to develop larger sized grapes. But in general, thinning the clusters when they first begin to form will help the plants redirect their energy into developing fewer but larger clusters of grapes. Give this a try and see if it doesn't improve the quality and quantity of grapes. Hope so!
