I'm deadheading existing plants and it is very hot in Las Vegas. Should I feed them at this time to keep them flowering. If so, what should I use? Thank you.

The safest thing to use is a time release granular or pelleted fertilizer. It will be released slowly as you water, providing a continuous supply of nutrients for your plants. Best wishes with your landscape!
