The Q&A Archives: What's eating our pumpkins?

Question: Every morning we discover that our pumpkin plants are severed at the base of the plant and the leaves are also nibbled at. We have sprayed liquid fence to deter deer and rabbits and have mulched the bare soil with straw. We're stumped and are anxious to take the correct preventative action as we've lost 50% of our otherwise healthy crop. We appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
